Reliable Contracting Group is a new small business, but its TeamMembers have been in the construction industry for as many as 30 years. Safety on the job is the goal of our TEAM, and it will not be compromised. No injury is acceptable, and every employee has the responsibility for ensuring a safe job site. This is not to say that accidents won’t happen, but we consider safety education a key to prevention. Our senior construction manager and our human resources manager work together with the project and field management teams to implement and monitor safety practices.

Regard for safety of the general public, our own employees and the employees of our subcontractors is a supreme responsibility of all levels of our organization. Our priority is to prevent any human suffering. Accidents, even minor ones, cause both physical and mental pain. Prevention of injury and illness is a goal worthy of achievement. In all of its operations, Reliable Contracting Group is guided by an established Accident Prevention Policy, a comprehensive Safety Policy and Procedures Manual, Task Hazards Analysis, and a Hazard Communications program. Part of our overall program is a strict prohibition on drug and alcohol use, so that all co-workers, subcontractors, and customers enjoy a safe, healthy working environment.

A safe operation is organized, clean and efficient. Employees and subcontractors are encouraged to view accident prevention in the same way we consider all aspects of our operations, with anticipation, forethought, planning, attention to detail and surroundings, and determination. This puts Reliable in a better position to not only control accidents but also to improve the total performance of our company.
